Today is Thanksgiving. Most bloggers traditionally have long list of things they are thankful for. I suppose I'm no different. I could talk about faith and the kind of home I grew up in. I could tell you about Mom and Dad and my siblings. I could talk about our kids and grand kids. I could talk about our best friends. I could tell you about how blessed we are. We're both in pretty good health for a couple of baby boomers. We're out doing what we want thanks to other people and all their hard work.
But I've decided today to talk about one person. I've known this person since I was 19 years old. This person has put up with a lot over the years and yet has remained faithfully by my side. We've been through some very tough times and some truly wondrous times. Getting married as young as we did, the odds were against us. We've seen many couples we knew divorce and go their separate ways.
Yes today I want you to know how thankful I am for the most important person in my life. Judy.... my wife, my lover, my companion, my confidant, my life.
